East Coast Ski Resorts? Snowshoe, WV, Killington, VT or ??? Help? - vt ski resorts

I live in Pittsburgh, PA, and I am looking for a ski resort for a week's break in the next year. We will, and I want to keep it in 8 hours. We love and steep slopes. We have a mix of skiers and snowboarders all very capable.

I am Snow or Killington, but never went to any. Wisp frequent vacuuming and Seven Springs. Other ideas?
